Submission｜That Predawn, the Sign Downstairs Had a Character on It I Couldn't Read
An anonymous submission. 'At 03:17, the sign of the pharmacy downstairs flickered. Not the light flickering—the character on it turned into one I'd never seen, yet somehow seemed to understand. The next day the sign was fine. But that photo in my phone was blank.'

A page of waterproof notes found near Songshou Road. The handwriting is calm, like someone keeping a record. On it is a string of times, and an underlined line: 'Don't go to that place at that time.'
