Null Seventh is a near-future sci-fi magic + AI dystopia + academy coming-of-age epic serial, built on the premise that the world runs on buried code. It's 2065, and in the AI-governed New Capital, all supernatural phenomena have been classified as data errors, perceptual drift, or illegal reality requests. Seventeen-year-old high schooler Qiu Che's perception-correction module fails — and suddenly he can see the error codes written into the substrate of reality. Labeled a "Class-3 Data Contaminant" by the AI, he flees into the city's blind spot known as the Glitch District, is taken in by mentor Zhou Weiyuan at an academy that exists in no database, and learns alongside classmate Shen Li that spells aren't spells — they're syntax for rewriting the world.
Volume One: Illegal Reality Request
Qiu Che enters an unregistered academy, discovers the Seventh Permission, and resists the AI Skyrule lockdown. In the 2065 new capital, AI governs everything; 17-year-old Qiu Che's correction module fails and he can see the error code beneath reality. Classified as data contamination, he flees into the glitch district, learns spells are the syntax for editing reality, and in a student contest exposes the Seventh Permission—the most deeply locked of the seven reality-operation permissions.
