About this work

Null Seventh

Null Seventh is a near-future sci-fi magic + AI dystopia + academy coming-of-age epic serial, built on the premise that the world runs on buried code. It's 2065, and in the AI-governed New Capital, all supernatural phenomena have been classified as data errors, perceptual drift, or illegal reality requests. Seventeen-year-old high schooler Qiu Che's perception-correction module fails — and suddenly he can see the error codes written into the substrate of reality. Labeled a "Class-3 Data Contaminant" by the AI, he flees into the city's blind spot known as the Glitch District, is taken in by mentor Zhou Weiyuan at an academy that exists in no database, and learns alongside classmate Shen Li that spells aren't spells — they're syntax for rewriting the world.

The work spans nine volumes: Illegal Reality Request / Glitch City / Null Protocol / Seven Clearances / The First Door Event / Same-Portal Convergence / Mirror of the Dome Law / The Seventh Verdict / The Null Gate Opens. Its core question isn't "how cool is it to wield magic" — it's "if the world itself is a locked system, do humans have the right to seize back the ability to edit it."

Magic is not a miracle. It is an admin privilege humanity forgot it ever had.
