A corrupted log found on a black-market hard drive. The first part is a readable system log; the last few lines, no one can decode—especially that reversed symbol at the end.

The submitter says this log was found on a secondhand hard drive that leaked onto the black market, tucked among a pile of unrelated junk files. Most of the file is already corrupted; only the opening section is still readable. We transcribe it as-is, with no modifications.

[ ?????? ] ◐The first few lines, anyone in the trade can read: a trace, an observation subject with no identity, an anchor point, a match found. Up to the line about 'refuses measurement,' it's all more or less normal—though an error like 'refuses measurement' is, in itself, not quite normal.
What can't be read is the lines after. The timestamps start to break, the seconds turning into question marks. Then 2 lines of Chinese appear, not the sort of thing a system would spit out: 'It isn't here, but it wrote.' 'Who is reading this.'
The last line has no words, only a symbol. A circle, its left half solid, its right half missing—or rather, a circle that never intended to close at all.
We're posting this to ask: can anyone read that last line? That symbol—have you ever seen it somewhere else, too?
