Deephive is a deep-space colonial horror saga told in serial form. In the year 2297, Ark Nine carries one hundred thousand cryogenic colonists to Kepler-942c. The planet checks every box — breathable atmosphere, liquid water, magnetosphere, near-Earth gravity, surface vegetation — and every public dataset confirms it habitable. Then the deep-layer scan picks up an anomaly: a heartbeat, once every seventy-two seconds, originating from thirty-seven kilometers underground.
The story begins as a routine colonial mission and fractures — first into deep-space horror, then into a three-way interstellar war among humanity, the Hive, and the legacy of an ancient civilization known as the Silentlight. The trilogy unfolds across three arcs: Landfall / Shipborn / The Silentlight War. The core thesis is not monster invasion — it's the revelation that this planet was never a new home. It was always a living egg.
「Humanity thought it had found a second Earth. Then they heard it — the entire planet, breathing. Beating.」
